It's the kickoff to Derby Festival this weekend! Tonight Cards football has their annual spring game at 7 pm at L&N Federal Credit Union Cardinal Stadium. Tomorrow it's one of the world's largest air shows, and fireworks displays for the 34th Annual Thunder Over Louisville. Thunder kicks off Derby Festival, which will culminate with the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby. What a great weekend for recruiting! Jeff Walz is having a phenominal recruiting year for the 2024-25 class. MacKenley Randolph, a McDonald's All-American from Sierra Canyon high school out of Chatsworth, CA has signed on the dotted line. She is the daughter of former Michigan State and NBA player Zach Randolph, and joins Sierra Canyon teammate, Izela Arenas, daughter of former Arizona and NBA player Gilbert Arenas on Jeff Walz squad next year.
